Yin Yoga is a slower style of yoga, consisting of long-held, passive floor poses. The poses aim at getting deeper into our body, such as the hips, spine, and areas rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer, with the support of several props (i.e. blankets, blocks, and bolsters).
